Daddy wanted to go to Happy Garden to see our friend who has been waiting the same two long years we have to bring home our little one. She saw the referral photo and has been awaiting her arrival. Daddy and I said we would come by so we did. Gabby smiled form ear to ear when she saw our friend! She strongly resembles Gabby's nanny from the Half The Sky Foundation. Gabby was all smiles and enjoyed seeing familiar faces and smells. WE love our little one so much. Hannah and Chase have a tradition of placing their fortunes in the water glass and then placing htem on their forheads. So, we did the same for Miss Gabby(Hannah offered to eat the cookie as she was concerned that Gabby was too small-lol) Little Miss Gabby's fortune said, "Focus on the journey not the destination" For us this is the whole meaning of our blog, we have found that this call to adoption is not just for a specific ending place rather a journey filled with God and all He has in store for each of us. Lessons of patience, perserverance, hope, and love. This journey through life for each of us as Christians is not about the final destination as we all know that is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior for all of eternity, but rather on the journey and the perfecting of our faith. Our life is made up of moments in time that reveal to us options to either see and feel God and His presence in our life and share that with others; or the option to turn to our own desires and seek our own understanding. For us, we pray GOd will continue to keep us on His path seeking His options for our lives and trusting that He will use us for His purpose which is far greater then any plans of our own! Thanks be to God! Blessings, Hayley
