After A Long Day!

Hey, let's just pray and take a nap, okay?

Visit With Jack

We visited Jack since we were out and about after lunch with family. We arrived and of course had to take photos of Jack and Gabby together. Jack is really catching up to Gabby! He was only born on Dec 1, 2007! Wow, what a big boy! We think he's really cute. Gabby loves him so much and so do we! Blessings, Hayley

More From The Grandparents

First Trip to Grandmother and Grandpa Chuck's House

We left Saturday morning after Gabby and Hannah's big day and evening events and met up with Grandmother and Grandpa Chuck in Mariposa for lunch. The Red Fox was closed due to family emergency and so we went to Castillo's Mexican food. It was nice. We then traveled further up the hill toward Yosemite's South Gate where the little area of Bass Lake Ca is and where my parents have built their retirement house. (retired, hahaha Dad's still working!) Anyhow, we spent time conding and visiting. I prepared my tax receipts and Kevin beat my dad at Chess ( a few times I might add!) Grandmother was anxious to get her tree down from Christmas! lol We were staying through Monday morning so Kevin helped him take it down on Sunday after Church and lunch in Fresno. yes, we went to Church in Fresno, at Redeemer, the Church I was baptized at as a baby! Gabby wanted to talk really loud in Church so we went to Sunday School with Auntie Bene! WE taked to the kids about God's family and baptisim! IT was cool, the text and lesson was on being adopted into GOd's family through baptism! Then we went to Fresno Breakfast House a Christian run resturant! They even give you scripture verses on the way out if you would like one!!! Really cool. We were a party of 17 and they gave us our own room! Uncle Wayne, Auntie Bene, Cousin Tracy and her boyfriend Dave all got to meet Gabby. This was their first time. After we all sang happy birthday and Gabby had her very own strawberry shortcake with whip cream. (She was a bit concerned when everyone all of a sudden stopped talking looked at her and began singing. She even cried for us too!) Back into my arms though and she was fine and ate her dessert (well, a little bit of it!) We had good travels over and back and made it to the Tax appointment only 15 minutes late, which was perfect as her prior client went 15 over! Blessings to you all and thanks for checking in with us!-Hayley

Butterfly Kisses

Hannah and Her Daddy

Gabby Turned One on Feb 15th!

Feb 15th was a big day at our house. It was the day Gabby was born and so we celebrated her one year of life on earth as we praised God she was home with us her forever family to celebrate! This day was also a busy one as I put together the corsages (157 to be exact) with a Beth, Jeannie and Jen and what I had thought would take a few hours lasted until 5pm! Then it was off to drop them off for the BIG FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE for Hannah and Kevin at Hannah's school. Wow! It was wonderful, "An Enchanted Evening Under The Sea" A good time was had by all, from what I have heard! Gabby and Hannah had their Daddy cook them a special dinner and we all had a wonderful candle lit dinner together to celebrate. Sense the store was out of cupcakes, we bought Hostess Cupcakes and guess what, Gabby loved them!!! I am so truly blessed to have such wonderful daughters and a very loving and giving husband who loves and serves the Lord! God has provided my heart comfort and my soul peace and He taught me how to entrust my children, all of them to Him! This is what brings peace. My three sons, Charlie, Christian and Chase are in the grips of our Lord and Savior and He promised to never loose one of His! Praise be to God for His Word is Supreme! Love to you all and enjoy the photos! blessings, Hayley

Gabby Says MaMa!

Gabby said mama the past two days but tonight she said it when asked and she knows who it is so her first American word is, MaMa, that is also Mandrin for mother! So she speaks two languages! WE love her so! She also says, locka locka locka, not sure why. We think maybe it is because everyone in China told her she was , "lucky, lucky, lucky" Well, maybe, either way we know it's not luck it is God's blessings and favor He has poured upon her and our family and we rejoice! Blessings, Hayley

Gabby Loves Mealtime

Gabby's Friends visit

Mom works out with Candace on Tuesday and Thursday and I get to play with my friends, Tatum and Peyton. We go for a walk when they are done, it is a lot of fun. I have my friends watch Ni Hao Kai Lan on Nick Jr with me. They are learning a few Mandarin words. Today is Valentine's Day. Tatum and Peyton had their new outfits on from Candace's mommy but I didn't have my outfit on yet. I was still in my PJ's. I get dressed after they leave and before my morning snack! I got to pick up my sister today from school and met a few more ladies. They think I am really neat! I will have mom post pictures of me and my sister and the dogs later. That's all for now!-Miss Gabby (with the help of mommy)

Chinese New Year!

Today we celebrated Chinese New Year! Gabby got all dressed up for her photo shoot! Today was going to be a big day! Today she was part of Hannah's class as she came in to share (with her mommie of course) all about Chinese New Year! The kids got to meet Gabby for the first time! She fell asleep onher way to the school, only five minutes down the street and then stayed fast asleep while I presented some info on our trip to China, Chinese New Year, the weather in China now, and how things change over time but some things remain, and for the Chinese celebrating Chinese New Year is a long standing tradition. It is there most important holiday of all. The focus is celebrating with family and friends for hope in the new year for peace and happiness for one another. We passed out red envelopes for each child and in their envelope was a bookmark with the "Invisiable Red Thread" message on it! Enjoy the photos! blessings, Hayley

Miss Gabby Kicking It!

Gabby loves her big sister Hannah. Hannah did a presentation of her China trip to meet her sister and bring her home at school today. She said she thinks she did a good job anad they asked a lot of questions!
Everyone is adjusting to our new family size. No problems here, everyone has a place nest to mom!
Gabby is getting stronger everyday. She is still practicing sitting up and trying to crawl. She likes to put weight on her legs now, and this is a big step for her!!!
Today, we visited Tori and Bryan at their house. Tori is really good at editing papers and we needed some help. WE also went to TOys R Us to get a new baby rocker and play mat. WE came home and daddy put the rocker together. WE put Gabby in it to see if she liked it adn she smiled and then closed her eyes and went to sleep! I think she loves it! I know I do, as my wrists are needed a bit of a rest!
