Nanjing and Things

We had a grat day today. Very easy to sight see for a bit with Gabriella and Hannah. Morgan is another sibling who came along and Hannaha nd Morgan are having a good time together. Gabby loves her Baby Bjorn Carrier and if it is nap time just put the shades on and she is out. Her caregivers said she likes it mostly dark to sleep with a little light, but not much. She loves shopping and if forward facing likes to grab everything. Even though she has a reparied cleft lip many folks still look upon her with favor. I figure in this culture it will really help to dress Gabby so beautiful that they would give her a chance. They do, and they smile upon her.

Our driver said he is very touched by our group. He says he would really have to think long and hard to ever adopt a baby with a special need, but that this group has what he sees as true love for these children. He understands and smiles everyday at the love the love we have for the children.

We have been well recieved in Gabby's province and the people here are very kind. We will pack tonight and then go to Guangszhou tomorrow afternoon after we go to the silk factory and pick up Gabriella's passport and papers.

Jane, our guide will take three nice outfits to the CCAA for the orpahnage staff to pick up in two weeks. We kept the clothes she came in and we wanted to replace them and a few extra. We thank the orpahange and it's staff and Half The Sky foundation who hired Gabby's nanny to come and take care of her. Not all children get this and so we know God saw fit to orchestrate it, for this we are truly thankful. Every prayer I have had for her and her protectio has been aswered and then some! God is so good.

We may not post again for a day or so, I will do my best. I will post several photos today and I hope that will carry you all over until the next post. We send our love, Kevin, Hayley, Hannah and Gabby
